MHGA meeting was fun

Pretty good turn out for the December meeting. About 15 folks showed up to
enjoy the story telling, the food and the beverages. Good time had by all.

We decided that for the March meeting we will try out Rich's barn. Not far from Oregon ridge, and the carpet's in better condition.

It was great to see the turn-out. Linda: I'm still living on those dumplings and broccolini. Great stuff.

The short of it is that MHGA and CHGPA are sister organizations. MHGA meets in the Baltimore area, CHGPA around abouts D.C.

As far as I know, MHGA currently does not have a website or newsletter, so Brian posts info here prior to meetings. In answer to your questions, the best way to learn about MHGA is to go a meeting.

When you become a member of either association, you have the option of purchasing a joint membership with the other. I encourage this. There are many benefits to having local club meetings which we should all gladly support. One important benefit is bringing new pilots into the sport. That is why the next MHGA meeting will be on Richard Hays' property, see Brian's post above.

Rich is an instructor and can show a glider to anyone with an interest in learning to fly who attends a meeting. Compliments to Brian and Rich for doing this.

Brian, how are prospective pilots going to learn about MHGA meetings?
