Taylors on 12/3 & 12/4

Post by silverwings »

Taught both days at Taylors with Saturday being the better of the two. Students got up to 12 flights on Saturday with a right/WSW to West cross at times. Bob Peterman (h2) also did 12 flights. Sunday started out windier, so we stayed low on the hill. It got lighter around 1:00 PM and a little more cross from the right/WSW and one of my students was flying off of the top. Got fairly warm in early afternoon. I expected that it would go more NW sometime mid/late afternoon according to the forecast. About 3:00 PM, I took a glider up to the top planning on getting a flight. A student was there with one of the trainers when all of a sudden it went NW and strong (15+ mph). That ended our flying for the day but my students got in a good number of flights.
