Fly Sat/ Sun?

Hello;

I have unpacked my glider, and my house (mostly) and hoping to fly this weekend, leaning towards Sat but flexible. Anybody got any plans?

I must admit I have not joined CHGPA yet, but I am perfectly willing to join and print and bring any waivers/ form required for my fisrt MD flight.

Saturday looks south, which sucks. Our go-to south site, Fisher Road, is closed during bambi slaughter season (Oct - Jan). The gang has posted about heading to the Pulpit site near McConnellsburg, PA on Sunday. Keep monitoring this list for updates.

You live in Gaithersburg, right? So do resident airsluts, Mark Carvanaugh and Carlos Weill. You might want to contact them about carpooling, Pulpit is about a 1:20 ride from you: cavanaug@ncbi.nlm.nih.gov and carweill@yahoo.com.

As for CHGPA membership, we'll be starting our annual drive in the next two weeks, so feel free to sign up at http://www.chgpa.net/renew. You don't need a special release form for Pulpit as long as your USHGA membership is current.

I'm out of pocket next two weekends visiting friends and family in Colorado. Sorry, won't get to fly with you.
