There will be a current US Sectional posted at a central location. There are high power lines to the north and south of the field, although not nearby. They will be pointed out so that pilots may avoid them.

Minimum competitor requirements: To be eligible, pilots must have a H3 AT rating (or special permission from the meet organizer), a GPS, and must have successfully aerotowed their glider model in competition conditions previously. Pilots may obtain their licenses online at https://www.naa.aero/html/appsDownloads ... shipSL.cfm . The cost is $39.00 AND WILL BE REIMBURSED TO YOU OUT OF YOUR ENTRY FEE of $50.00. Your license will be checked at registration.

Pilots may be required to provide necessary hardware, cables, software and knowledge to the scorekeeper to make sure that flights from their instruments can be downloaded.
Pilots are required to register the make, model and serial number of all GPS devices that they intend to use during the competition with the competition scorer. If the device a pilot registered is damaged during the competition the pilot may wish to use an alternative device. I just talked to Paul,

If it is neccesary my girlfriend and I would sign up.

We are not expirenced comp pilots at all. It would be the first one. But you have to start somewhere, don't you?

i think a small comp like this would be just fine :P
