Petition to Keep the USHGA Focused on Non-Powered Flight

Post by theflyingdude »

Below is a link to the website set up by the CCS group. They are attempting to compel the USHGA to re-focus their primary mission on the promotion of non-powered soaring flight. They need 500 member signatures by November 28.

Please check out the website for a more in-depth explantion of their position and if you agree, download the petition (it's in a PDF format) and sign it. Petitions should be mailed to Peter Birren at the address shown on the petition within the next couple weeks. An even better plan might be to print the entire webpage and petition and take them to Woodstock, HR, the Pulpit, Bill's Hill, Highland, Blue Sky, etc on the next good flying day and ask those pilots in attendance to sign the petition if they agree with the proposal.

Thanks Panties Dude, but I'd already seen this when it was originally posted on the USHGA Yahoo list. It still cracks me up...
