High Rock Thursday Instead?

Post by markc »

I've been looking at ADDS, NWS, and Intellicast, and
all show a solid NW@10 at High Rock, lasting anwhere
from 3 to 6 hours. For example:

http://www.erh.noaa.gov/ifps/MapClick.p ... 2&map.y=21

So the big question is sun... If it does turn out to be
a partly-cloudy day, then it might be pretty nice up there!
Hopefully a chance to enjoy some fall color from the air.

I think Carlos is definitely flying tomorrow. And I'm in if the
outlook for sun is decent. Anyone else? Make yourself heard!

I'm planning to fly.
My destination is Ridgely, unless they are not flying.

Anyone else thinking of the Rock? Enough pilots
to trade-off on wirecrew would be a plus, obviously...

Arg! Just realized that I have a meeting I cannot escape
from this afternoon, so no HRock for me after all, bummer!
Guess I'll have to hope that the NW@5-10 forecast for
both Fri and Sat will hold....
