High Rock Friday

Looks good for an afternoon at the Rock on Friday... as long as the POTUS stays away. So far no NOTAMS.

Weekend looks L&V.

Check your NOTAMs boys and girls. P-40 "is expected"
to be bloated this weekend:
From AOPA:
CAMP DAVID TFR TO EXPAND FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY Pilots
flying in the Mid-Atlantic area are cautioned that the
temporary flight restriction (TFR) area centered on
Prohibited Area P-40, the presidential retreat at Camp
David, Maryland, is expected to grow larger beginning
sometime Friday, October 28, and continuing through
Sunday, October 30.

POTUS Halloween Party! What do you think his costume
will be?

I would hate to cancel my flying plans based on AOPA 'predictions'

I don't see a NOTAM for the P40 area on Friday. If I am mistaken, please let me know.

If a TFR is in effect, then I'll probably go to Pulpit on Friday afternoon, arriving around 1pm.

Been checking the NOTAMs. Still nothing. But often they spring up the day of. I'm hoping that the Libby/Rove indictment decisions aren't announced till end of day on Friday. This may keep the POTUS in DC till Friday evening.

Looks a bit North today. Might still work. But I'm opting out as tomorrow, Saturday, looks SPECTACULAR.
