Okay. People in VA whine about having to go to MD for the meeting. People in MD whine about having to VA for the meeting. We drive 2+ hours to the mountains all of the time but can't spend 45 minutes driving around the belway!!! And, heaven forbid, someone suggest that we hold the meeting in DC (we are the CAPITAL club) pilots act as though they are being asked to go to Baghdad. Jeesh! So why not hold the meeting in VA, MD and DC???? We haven't gotten more than a dozen folks at a meeting in forever. So let's rent a limo and we will have pick up spots in MD, VA and DC. We can get a 20 passenger hummer limo for $300 plus tip, food and alcohol.

If we BYOB and pick up some pizzas, the cost for a dozen people with tax and tip is only 30 per person? So what'cha think? Drive around, see the monuments at night and hold the meeting. If we do this, we'll need a definite head count and confirmation from each person attending the meeting.

I do not whine. I have a passport and visa for entering Virginia and hire native guides. I will support your innovative venue proposal - even if it IS a gas guzzler (do they have a hybrid?)
