 work seems to screw up the fly-ins for me. Was just told a few hours ago that I am on a trip to Ukraine, 9-17th. This vicious cycle must stop........ Gene

Based on the forecasted strong upper level winds for the weekend and the cost of fuel, I've decided to stick around the local area and miss the Ox Roast.

I don't know what came over me ...

... I'm going to head North and maybe get to do a cloud dive tomorrow morning, enjoy the Ox Roast on Saturday and the fall foliage, and guitar by the fire, and hanging out with a great bunch of people.

How long a drive is it to Hyner from Hagerstown, MD? I'd love to go---just have to work out that balance between flying and family...

Really? 4.5hrs from Hagerstown? Man, that's a l-o-n-g way. (That's like driving halfway to Tennessee!) Any shortcuts? :) Even Blue Sky is only 2.5hrs...
