First flight of retirement.

Christy arrived here in Salida on Friday night and fortunately Saturday turned out to be a good flying day a the local site, Villa Grove with a bunch of pilots from the Denver area. The forecast was for light winds but it was too strong for most to want to fly midday but some flew and sunk out. By 4 is was glass off conditions and we all piled off, including Christy for her first flight here on her old K2 sporting the big AARP banner. We all flew for an hour or more getting to 14K+. Dinner at Loretta's in Villa Grove afterwards. Sunday was cold and wet and now it's snowing.
