Ok, now that the annual USHGA award nominations are behind us, it's
time to start thinking about calendars;??right now I have 3 prototype
versions available for review. ?I can either offer all three calendars
as-is, or, depending on comments, I might combine images from versions
B &?C to form a single version B calendar. ?The prototypes can be
viewed at:
http://photos.sickinger.net/calendars/2006a
http://photos.sickinger.net/calendars/2006b
http://photos.sickinger.net/calendars/2006c
I have a new plan for producing the calendars this year;??I'm going to
buy a color laser printer, and produce them myself. ?I won't be able to
reduce the price of the calendars (this year), but it will give me more
flexibility in printing. ?Since I'll be able to generate single
calendars on-demand, I'll be better able to respond to late requests.
?It will also be easier for me to generate custom calendars. ?My hope
is the quality will be as good as it has been in the past, if not
better, and once I've got a better handle on the production costs, I
should be able to bring prices down next year.
In the mean time, pricing will be:
$17 for the first calendar
$16 for each additional calendar
$1 per calendar shipping (waived if I don't have to mail the calendars)
Custom calendars:
+$5 for layout (if you select the images, from my website)
+$12 for layout if you want me to pick images for you
+$2 per calendar
One final note: ?I apologize to the PGer's, but I just haven't gotten
out to any of the PG sites this year. ?If there is interest in a more
PG-themed calendar, I can put one together, but it would consist
entirely of pictures taken at the Pulpit Fly-In.

Well, since I haven't heard any comments, can I assume that everyone is
ok with calendar B as the "2006 CHGPA Calendar"? (Calendar A is a
"specialty" calendar, reserved for a specific subset of the membership;
if that subset figures out who they are.)
Hopefully Matthew is right about Woodstock this weekend, and I can get
a few WS photos to help balance out the Calendar. If I get something
good, I would probably put it in for November, and move November's
photo to December.
