Vvroom, Vvroom...rrreeee....

Driving above 13K is quite an accomplishment. Ain't internal combustion a wonderful thing!!!

We got over 10K this past spring using only the power of the sun and I believe Nelson Lewis has been over 13K in the wave at Woodstock using only wind power. In the west, pilots often get to 17,999' in thermals (I've been to 17,500' over the Pellisar Flats and Boundary Peak in the Owens Valley).

All forms of flight are cool, but free flight seems to be the most extraordinary of all (not to mention the cleanest and most pure).

Congrats on a really cool flight. FYI-- James is not only a PPG pilot, he's a PG pilot and a PG instructor. Way to go Jim!!!
