Donating hang gliders/harnesses to Manquin Flight Park, formerly known as Blue Sky.

Post by krryerson »

Good afternoon!

During our board meeting on Tuesday, we discussed reaching out to various groups for donations of hang gliders and harnesses for our club, Manquin Flight Park, formerly known as Blue Sky.

On behalf of the Manquin Flight Park board, I have been tasked with reaching out to pilots who might be interested in donating any unwanted hang gliding equipment.

We would greatly appreciate your support if anyone has a low-performance wing and harness that they no longer use. This equipment will benefit our new scooter program for students and more.

Additionally, even if we can't use the equipment directly, Billy from Kitty Hawk in Nags Head is happy to accept any donated hang gliders for potential parts.

Please get in touch with me or any other board member if you’re willing to help.

Here is the Manquin Flight Park board:

- John Shurte, Director/President
- Brett Cherefko, Vice President
- Joe Kohler, Secretary
- John Dubnowski, Maintenance
- Nano Ogura, Treasurer
- Billy Vaughn, At Large
- Greg Mick, At Large
- Knut Ryerson, At Large
- Mark Tompkins, At Large

Thank you!
