As many of you already know, I'm heading to New Zealand for the "winter". My flight leaves tomorrow, so before I jump into the great unknown (and who knows how wired), I wanted to say it's been a blast hanging out with you guys (again) this summer.

I will of course be bringing my camera and once I've found an internet connection, I'll be posting stuff up to my site (jimrooney.com).

So long and see ya'll next year.
Cheers Mate ;)

Have a great trip, stay safe and come back with next spring's first thermals.

Also, feel free to bore us with your flying stories while we excite you with
tales of shoveling our driveways.

Dave

Have fun and think of us. Be sure to jump off the skytower in Auckland, 192 meters. Oh yeah, watch the driving, they are on the wrong side. Gene

I know you will have a great time. Make some time to travel around the South Island and two of my favorite areas are Nelson and Queenstown. Let us know how its going.

Jim,

I hate to see you go. But wait, I don't see you as it is. I simply enjoy your posts here and marvel at your insight and character. Please do send pictures and tales from time to time. I look forward to spending an hour picking your brain again next year. Keep safe and have a good time.

Jim,

I was looking forward to saying goodbye in person before you left but I'm just getting over some oral surgery and haven't been able to get to the airport. Hope you have a great season in New Zealand. I'm looking forward to reading about your experiences on your blog and to seeing your smiling face at Highland again next spring.

I know you will bring smiles and good vibes to everyone you encounter there!

Good luck,
Paul
