Hard to know how things will go this far out, but count me in if we have a weekend day that isn't G20-30, all darn day. Sheesh!

Things are starting to look encouraging for Sunday at Woodstock, at least compared to the past few weekends.... Don't think I'm looking for a big-air day, so I would have to see signs of somewhat mellow conditions by late afternoon. Will be watching the forecasts tomorrow for sure!

Hrrrmmm. NWS sfc now calling for NW10G20 at 7pm. Looks like there could be a window with some lighter winds at the very end of the day, but having some doubts about that gamble. *Really* hoping that tomorrow's forecasts will show a back down a bit earlier... Even just 30 minutes earlier.

I am gonna gamble on a flight after 5:30P. I see surface winds going from 14 to 12 to 10 between 5P - 6P - 7P. Bacil

Waiting for the AM updates to the forecasts before I decide whether to gamble or not....

I'm bailing. Seems like there might be a flyable window at the very end of the day. But I haven't heard that anyone else is planning to fly (though Bacil offered to help with launch and shuttle, thank you!), which makes things less fun. And the ADDS 3k is that solid 20-30 knot color all day. And Winchester has reported strong-than-forecast gusts of 32 for the past two hours. And... ... ...

But TBH, I'm just not in the "I-really-want-to-fly-today" mindset. Perhaps too soon, too many thoughts whirling around.

KOKV/Winchester reported NW18G29 surface at 6:30pm... So maybe the gamble would have been a long-shot. Let's hope for a better forecast next weekend!
