Thinking Woodstock on Saturday if the current forecast holds ...WNW 290-300 at 8-10 mph on the ground.. and in the 50s..

As of Thursday morning the forecast is holding for WS ...It will be WSW in the morning switching to WNW @ 300 degrees at 8-9 mph on the ground.. 3-5 mph for launch level ..should give us a really nice soaring window from noon to 4 pm..Temperatures are supposed to be very nice in the mid to upper 50s and sunny!! ..Will check forecast again Fri night ..Rich

Add me to the waiting/hopeful list for Saturday, wherever the winds are blowing!
Re: Woodstock Saturday Dec. 4th
Hrrrmmmm.... Now starting to look like one of those too-light WS / too-strong Pulpit days, hope I'm wrong!
Re: Woodstock Saturday Dec. 4th
Disagree on the Pulpit end. Definitely too light at Woodstock, but the Pulpit should be perfect. Should be plenty of pilots. Know of 3 Eastern PA pilots coming, and one Western PA pilot coming too. Should be plenty of crew for launching as well. Bacil
