Forecast models look good with soarable conditions predicted along the entire length of the Massanutten with daytime temps at 2,000ft in the low to mid 30s. Who’s interested?

Tomorrow's predictions still look good for the afternoon. Unless they change, I should be at launch by 10:30.

Windy and cold! 25 to 30 mph gusts at launch kept the wings in the bags until after 2pm so Gary and I decided to not to unzip ours and help the kids (Mark and Bari) fly. Both flew for at least 40 min.

Gary and Ward, thanks a bunch for all the assistance with setup and then launch
This thermal took me almost to cloud base. Came down because jitters set in when I got to almost 4K. I found 3200 MSL to be noticeably warmer then launch and particularly hard to break over 3000 MSL. It was lovely to fly with Mark, an all around great day.
Thank you all.
