Florida Comps 2022

Post by krryerson »

From team@hgrac.com and Stephen:

"Please spread the word - the Florida Comps are happening next year, 2022. We are still having some delays in getting them listed on AirTribune - we will have a work around if does not get resolved. The dates are the 24th to the 30th of April and May 1st to the 7th. The comps are being held at Wilotree Park in Florida. The 24th and the 1st will be check-in days. The entry entry fee will be $375 (includes Wilotree Park Fee, $475 after March 10th). The aerotowing fee is $350 - this includes a tow on check-in day."

I highly recommend CHGPA - HG pilots to come down to Florida and fly. You''ll learn so much and have so much fun. Most important, you don't need to have any experience, flying HG competitions.

I have already booked a hotel and there are some good deals now for that. Will be in the first competition, 24th to the 30th of April.

If you want to get a lot of airtime, Florida is normally really good in April, with great big thermals and plenty of safe LZ's all over.

There is also the GreenSwamp Sport Class competition. April 3-9, which is also fantastic for XC beginners. Green Swamp is already listed on AirTribune.com
