Flying on Sat10July?

Post by markc »

Looks like a fairly light NNW->NW->NNW surface forecast at the Pulpit tomorrow. 3K winds supposed to switch from N to W by the afternoon. Not super-motivated, but on the other hand, supposed to be in the 70's... Thoughts/opinions?

Emma Jane's Field has knee high grass. Someone flew and landed there last Saturday.

Tom A. is coordinating getting a group organized to start flying there again. He would like names and numbers of anyone that's interested so that he can contact you directly.

You must have at least cliff launch sign off to fly in light wind and windy cliff launch for the stronger wind.

The club has the site listed as closed.

About 4 months ago the CHGPA Board was asking for a willing HG pilot to write the risk assessment for the site to continue RRG coverage.

It would be awesome if all active local HG pilots could start attending the CHGPA meetings again! I know Allen jumps on them.

"Someone" was Steve Krichten.

I for one would be very interested in flying there "again".

Awesome! We should repaint "The Cube" in honor of Karen.

I would totally be into helping to wirecrew on the next good, relatively mellow, HRock day!

(not tomorrow, other stuff going on)

If there's interest from, say, a handful of pilots, count me in!
