NW weekend 3/6 - 3/7

A bust at the Pulpit yesterday. I convinced Aron Lantz to drive 3 hours from NE PA to hopefully have his 1st flight at the Pulpit. I convinced Allan to forego the SAC to come to the Pulpit. Tried to recruit others to no avail, so the mission changed to solely mechanizing Aron's flight. I got there at 10A to light conditions and NNE cross at times. Allan showed up next and Aron was due by noon. Conditions straightened out and got strong. Aron got delayed by an hour, and arrived w/ his wife Julie after 1P. So we had a full wire crew, but by this time it was too strong for most pilots, so we waited until 5:30P before throwing in the towel. There were a few "lulls" during the wait, but they were short lived. Another data point logged. Bacil
