It's interesting but torsion stress would be immence on the keel with just the impact. Deceleration of dead weight (pilot being flung forward) only adds to the torsion delta. The keel would essentially become a cocked bow! Imagine if it were to break at that time! It would smack straight into the pilot.

It's a breakthrough in hang gliding technology. If the idea catches on then we will no longer need to worry about the nose of the glider slamming in the back of our neck and killing us as our back breaks at the same time.

Thats a pretty neat idea. You could make it yourself to fit your own glider and harness setup and test it for range of motion before flying
