Sac on Saturday

Post by 1otIII2007 »

t looks like Sac could be a good place to fly on Saturday Jan 9. The forecast is NNW 6-8 MPG. Will be cold though around freezing. It could be a good day to fly to the river and back if you can dress up enough to stay warm.

It's starting to look pretty good there. Gotta work in the AM. Not enough hours of light yet to make it a worthwhile trip to the Sac after work. Bacil

Have to work. Joe & Karen should be available. But on 2nd thought, recalculating (which Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffesberger didn't have to do for a 4th time  !) the ETA after work tomorrow, and the fact that it's looking pretty darn good tomorrow all day, I'm in for tomorrow at the SAC. ETA 3P+. Bacil

Got to the SAC just before 3P. Found Allan and Romano w/ their S2 and S3 155s set up respectively. Cold and gusting up to 30? MPH. Didn't even take the glider off the truck. Aron had a short flight during a lull prior to my arrival. Chatted w/ Romano and Allan a good bit, then hit the road after they broke their gliders down. Bacil
