Sac on Saturday

Post by 1otIII2007 »

The forecast looks like the Sac might be ridge soarable on Saturday.

I'm seeing sfc forecasts of NNW@5-6 max tomorrow. Both the NWS hourly and Accuweather.

The ADDS 3k calls for NW@15-20 at 1400 UTC, which is encouraging... But then it very quickly subsides.

So: Not enough to tempt me into a 2:45 drive I'm afraid :( .

Might be worth a try for those who are local though! Let us know if it works out.

Sac is best with due N. Lighter winds also. Hyner would be a better bet.

CF

Edit: Saturday morning: Joe says Sac may work and will be around.

Does not look promising to me at this point, but if it changes I could be there in the PM.
