Looks good for 501 Sunday. Surface forecast of SSE @ 11 MPH at Harrisburg is a good indicator. Single surface gliders need not apply due to the long glide to the LZ. Bacil

I am in for 501 on Sunday if it still looks good. This site is closer for me than any other place.

At 501 launch. It's blowing straight in @ 6 to 12 MPH. Where are the local pilots!? Bacil

Here is what I posted on Hynerclub@googlegroups:
I flew 501 today (Sunday) got off in a good straight in cycle and had no problem climbing up. I got up to 3380' MSL could have climbed much higher. My goal was to fly up the ridge and back but I did not go very far because the conditions had strong lift and sink cycles. I had climb rates of 790' per minute and sink of 910' per minute. We are having big air conditions lately.
Ended up with an 1 hour and 10 minutes air time.
