Anyone interested in flying Thursday October 8 in Liverpool PA? Launch is on same ridge as SAC but 2miles east of river. So far Chris and I plan to fly.

Charles, thanks for keeping us in the loop.
Though, a bit shorter drive for me to Woodstock and like
the local PG pilots, hoping for a glass off Thursday afternoon at WS.
It is a great help help for us hangies joining the PG’s on light days and glass off afternoons at WS.
They often show us they way and are not afraid to tryout the conditions.
I am very thankful for them being so active.
Looks like Gary also is interested in going to WS on Thursday afternoon.

We flew at Woodstock today and a very good day. Self launched in to 10-15 mph wind straight in at 13:49.
Solid lift on the whole ridge all day and easily flew up to Strasbourg.
Solid thermals that took us up to 5475 MSL.
Flew with 3 HG pilots and 2 sailplane.
Did not feel that it was a good XC, with no cumulus, street and more.
Landed after 1:41 hrs in the bridge field after Gary landed.

Was nice seeing you guys in the air! I was in the orange falcon

I took off about 4 PM, good lift up to (estimate) 5k or so (only had an audio vario).

Landed around 5:45 in the bridge field after doing the milk run up to Strasburg.

Who had the isuzu trooper parked at launch?

Was that you John?
I just launched when you arrived. Bummer! I know you like to go XC and would have loved to fly more with you.
The Isuzu was probably George's car.
Made a little video from the flight yesterday and if interested, as I always say, check it out at
