Flying on Sun26July

Post by markc »

Though the sfc forecast for Sunday is very light, including the 3k ADDS, the latter shows conditions picking up by the end of the day. That *might* translate into a good day at the Pulpit... Anyone else got an eye on Sunday?

I am looking at Sunday pretty closely too. I would arrive early afternoon. It would be good to see everyone.

Six pilots showed up, only three prepared to fly.
Tom, Charley, and Anthony took off through the afternoon about an hour apart.
All had clean launches and soared for over an hour. When I left around 6 PM, Anthony was still boating around in what looked like smooth evening lift.

It was a fun day although I did not get that high, 3500 msl was my best. Thanks to Mark, Bacil, Peter, and Rich for helping out. I am m looking forward to flying with everyone again soon.
