It was an early day at the Pulpit. Launchable up to 1P. I got there at 12:15P to an awesome sky and straight in moderate conditions. Walt showed up at 3P to try for a late launch attempt at 5P. Rich showed up just before Walt to help. It was strong and gusty from 1P on. We tried to get Walt up on the newer ramp at 5P by parking the glider at the back of the ramp and having Walt hook in there. However, monitoring the Holfuy real time data showed it was too strong for us so we collectively decided to bag it and carry the glider back down to the setup area. An early launch at 11A+ looked like it could have bagged a 100+ mile XC day. Bacil
