The forecast has improved a bit at the Pulpit: W@6 on the sfc until 1pm. Add the usual +5-10 that we typically see at launch.... Could be good! Who's in?

Hmmm..... That hourly SFC forecast seems overly optimistic/old. KHGR is already reporting SW. The weather station at launch is down, so can't crosscheck against what it's reporting. But I'm not as motivated as an hour ago

Go figure: NW@8 for the latest KHGR reading. Updated hourly has pushed the SW swing to 3pm or later. Starting to get motivated again

I'll at least throw the Falcon on and head toward Smithsburg. If other pilots start chiming-in for a Pulpit day, will redirect.

The weather station is now working and it looks good at noon. I am heading for the Pulpit ETA about 2 PM.
