Might go to Daniels on Thursday, for HG, March 28th. I am off.
Was first hoping that Bluesky would work out for Thursday, but now not sure.
Friday looks really good for Bluesky, but having problems getting time off for Friday.
Anyone interested in Daniels? Any inputs appreciated.

Re: Daniels Thursday 28th
Unfortunately I will not be available Thursday afternoon, but 48 hrs ahead it is looking good. Looks like a number of hg pilots are going. It has been awhile since there has been some hg xc reported from Daniels. It would be great to see some pics of Old Rag taken from an hg.

Talked to Steve, Blueskyhg.com.
If weather does not change drastically, Thursday, seems like Bluesky would work better for me, this time.
Rusty, not been in the air since October and won't face the LZ conditions at Daniels this time.
FYI: Landing conditions at Daniels can sometimes be a pain.
Looks like Walt might join me at Bluesky.

I got there at noon, went up with Nerion and Matthew. Wind was blowing 8/10 mph. Launching was very easy, when in the air we didn't stay up for too long, maybe 20 minutes. When we landed Zach was there so we all went up.
Nerion flew for about 15 minutes, and I was pretty much right after him on my way to LZ when I hit a thermal that took me up to 1500 meters, after that was easy staying up there, so I had a 1 1/2 hours in the air then decided to land.Didn't go xc because I had to be home early.
Over all we all had good flights, not sure about Randy, since I left right after he launched. There was also another glider in the air, ( I don't know who it was, (green glider) Props to Zach, who just kept working and working to get the HG up and finally did!
Matthew had a better flight on his last try. On the 3rd attempt, Nerion also had a low save and manage to have a nice flight.
At BlueSky, the wind was blowing a bit stronger than forecast. Knut & I both did 2 hg truck tows each which were basically sleds except Knut on his first got an extended.

As John said, got two flight's at Bluesky.
First flight, lucky timed it with a broken up thermal. (Broken up, or was it just me that could not thermal fly any longer?)
And this went on for two more times.
Got 16 minutes and never got higher than 1400 feet.
Second flight just an extended sledding.
Though, great weather, got some D- vitamins and rust dusted away.
So, overall a successful day and glad to be back in the air.
Left my chute/harness back at Bluesky for re-packaging.
Always good talking to Steve, which also showed me the latest harness available and much more.
Will post a short video when figuring out the insta editing and more.
