A fun day on the mountain, many pg's, no hg's. It would have been hg soarable, particularly later in the day. All soared, some for 2+ hours with altitude gains of 2000+ over launch (when one can see into the Shenandoah valley it is the cue that you are 2000 over launch). After an enjoyable time on the ridge I went for a short, late in the day xc for 4 mi. Ended up near McMullen, didn't expect to make it that far, since it was late, I was not that high and clouds were setting in (I had a driver). The track is not much to look at but here it is:
