Possibilities for Sun10Mar?

Post by markc »

I'm seeing hints of a warm SW day on Sunday, possibly flyable at Daniel's. Thoughts?

Hmmm, just had a look at the ADDS 3k..... A bit sketchy, guess we'll have to see how the uppers go in the next couple days.

Double-Hmmm.... Taylor Hill could also be an option on Sunday, not a bad time of year for a practice day at the training hill. Thinking...

I'm interested in a training day at Taylor's. Any other HG pilots interested?

The 3k has me a bit concerned about flying Daniel's tomorrow.... Just a 'cast.... But been-there/done-that once too many times at that site with strong conditions aloft. Considering a practice day at Taylor, if the muscles aren't screaming at me tomorrow :D

Looking too strong at Taylors tommorow... I hope the forecast changes.

I have some interest in flying Taylors on Sunday but Accuweather forecast shows much stronger than other forecast. Will look in the morning but not very optimistic.

The kicker is that I want to have to *work* for that launch, if I'm gonna spend some time at the hill...
Strong SW isn't going to help with that, grrr!

I have decided to pass on going to Taylors today and do other things. It doesn't look extreme there and will probably be flyable.

I'm up for making the drive. It will be gusting to 23mph in the afternoon.

Sorry to bail on you Anthony..... But I think I will wait for a classic Taylor day, SW@10-15, in order to get the most out a training hill refresher.

I was up for training day but the weather wasn't cooperating. My guess is that April will bring at least a couple of good mountain days around here. Now looking at SB for training next Sat.
