Woodstock/Pulpit/Smithsburg Weekend 12/22 - 12/23

Post by XCanytime »

Finally a weekend that looks flyable both days. A training hill and a mountain are 45 minutes apart and both look to work all weekend. When was the last time that happened? I plan on taking advantage of it. Bacil

Looking like Woodstock/Smithsburg Saturday and Pulpit/Smithsburg Sunday. Plenty of options. Above 40. Easy to pick. Bacil

The timeline looks compressed, negating the Pulpit option. Gary Smith and I are planning on an afternoon flight at Woodstock tomorrow. Bacil

Got a late start after having to help out at FedEx w/ the XMAS crunch. Got to launch at 3:45P. Light conditions on launch. Spent an hour locally and it stayed light the whole time. Lotsa wave in the sky. A nice PM soaring flight looked easily attainable. Bacil
