Forecast looks a bit strong. Possibly work late afternoon. Blowing hard this am in Strasburg. Not sure I will head out today. It's cold too.

A number of HG pilots are going today with the hopes that the winds will diminish adequately to allow flying in the late afternoon.

Walt, Jon B, John M, Joe S. (Sans glider) and I were there. John and I launched at 4:30 into nice conditions. Both of us flew for about an hr. and topped out at about 3500 msl. Slight west cross but good flights. Walt got too cold to fly after hanging around since 2:00 pm. Jon did not fly as it was too sporty for a single surface. Thanks to everyone for help on launch and to John M for the ride up the mountain.
