And it was a good morning at the SAC. Got there around 9:20A to breezy conditions and a sky mixed w/ pancakey cumies and upper level clouds. Set up and waited for Joe and Jonathan Leal to arrive. Took off w/ their assistance just after 11A into lighter conditions. Launch was quirky but got out of the slot w/ speed and turned right. Dolphin flew a long way before turning back towards launch. Found a good climb to 1200' over just before the Klingerstown Gap. Jumped the gap w/ ease and headed to the hunting club estate overlooking Hebe. Ratty lift down there with cross conditions from the NE, so I hung out in front of a cut field just east of Pillow and past the estate. Out of flying shape, and with corn everywhere, I decked it in the cut field. Stashed the equipment behind some hay bales out of view, and set off on foot to the east. 3 miles and an hour later ran into 3 young folks who offered me a ride to launch. Manna from heaven. Back at launch Kramer and Paul Sydor from North Carolina were soaring, and the setup area had dang near 7 gliders set up. The 3 were treated to their first ever view of a hang glider taking off when Bob launched. Made their day. They set off for the Wal Mart in Elizabethville; I set off for my equipment. Got it and continued on. Bacil
