Possible flying on Wednesday 6/13 or Thursday

It might be HG flyable at Woodstock or the Pulpit but some of the forecast models are disagreeing. Lets see what develops over the next couple of days.

Thursday is looking fairly good for flying at Woodstock. There are a few of us interested in flying there then.

Seems like it is worth a try.
My best flight ever at WS, was when forecast only predicted 6 -7mph. Belive it was 6 mph, but great thermals.

Great day at Woodstock on Thursday.
George, Joe and John M was there. Arrived ~1:30 pm, trimming the grass at the launch with Joe and John. They did it most, thanks so much!
Nice ~5 mph straight in, with a taste of north 20%, but not a problem for Jeff and George, launching PG’s around ~2:00 pm. Seems like they had a great 1-hour flight, boating around.
Around ~3:00 p.m. John M and Joe were ready for PG too but got too strong. They later both flew HG’s and believe they had had some good time in the air.
John B also flew and belive he had a great flight.
Launched at ~3:30 pm in great cycle ~10 mph. Thanks for all wire helps, Tom M and Joe.
Easy to get up and after figuring things out, headed north to Signal Knob.
When arriving Signal knob, Tom joined me in some great thermals with average 630 fpm.
Maxed out on this day to 6020 MSL.
Headed back to Woodstock and did see Tom high above and out, going south.
Followed him and noticed him finding good lift at Short mountain. Decided to go for it. Found good lift before first crossing and made it over to Short mountain. From there on never did see Tom again.
Incredible solid lift on the whole ridge all the way down to Massanutten. At 6:00 pm on final leg of the ridge, it seemed like all the trees in front and below did feed me with a nice breeze of lift, almost making it a cake walk.
Good landing and landed around 6:50 pm out in the valley, south of Massanutten.
Got in touch with Tom, which apparently landed next to an Elementary school a few miles away from me and together, we Uber(ed) back to launch.
Got in bed a 1:00 am.
Conclusion:
What a fantastic day and view and will post a video soon. Most have seen ~20 eagles and hawks on the ridge too, just fantastic.
