too early to call, but hopefully a good day for PGs, Falcons, and lousy HG Pilots.
Volunteers? Interested? Pilots?

The forecast has even gotten better and should be good from noon on for both PG and HG. I plan to arrive by noon.

Moderately breezy at the Pulpit and only HG flights. Walt, myself, Zack, and Josh flew. It got very cloudy for a good part of the afternoon.

Walt launched first from the left ramp with my assistance maybe 1 PM and flew down the ridge toward the primary staying about ridge top level and landed after about 15 min. I first got on the left ramp but didn't like the feel and conditions and then moved to right ramp and had a nice easy launch maybe 2:30 ish. Got some good lift at first getting 1-2k above but the clouds really moved in after about 20 min and then I was flying 2-500 feet above for mostly for the rest of the flight which lasted 1:35. During my flight Zack launched from the pad after backing off of the right ramp and even though it was cloudy he found good lift out front and he flew up and down the ridge going to he north beyond the knob and down south for a distance coming back and landing in the primary. During my flight Joshua launched from the pad flew out a bit then drifted toward the primary but fairly low. After he passed the secondary it looked like he might land in a little green strip but then got enough lift to make it out to the next field north of the primary and looked like he was going to land there but then got enough to go over the trees and land in the primary. The pilots at launch were concerned whether he would make any landing field but watching him from the air I could see his options better and though not a wise flight he kept possible landing areas available. When I got back up to launch after 5PM the clouds had gone and the wind then was coming in fairly pleasantly and may even had been PG flyable.
