Here’s something to ponder while you’re throwing back your “Cinco de Mayo” cerveza(s). The attached Ed Hawkins’ image of global heat maps from 1850 to 2016 highlights the fact that our Earth is heating up. During the last decade the increase is obvious, to say the least. All of us already know this (I hope), so my question focuses on our local environment. Has global warming messed with the frequency of our cold-front (NW) flying days? My gut feeling is that we’re seeing fewer but I don’t have the hard-data to back this up.

What-da-ya-think?
