Pulpit Sunday March 18th
Warmer and straight in. I'm there. Who else is interested? Bacil
Re: Pulpit Sunday March 18th
Sounds like a plan.

Looks great after 3P. And warm(er). Who`s in? Bacil

Seems like more W on Sat, but better and warmer weather on Sunday... Probably will give Sunday a try if conditions hold.

I don’t think I’m going to make it today. I should have known better than to think people would behave themselves on the night of St Paddy’s Day

Looked pretty sketchy for most of the day... I think the peak gusts were even stronger than last weekend. Just nuts, didn't even tension the wing, all day.
I dealt with the impatience by ripping out the vine-y thorns in the fire pit area. Pulling up the roots was very therapeutic
Don't know why, but we all had a better feeling about this day than last Saturday. And hallelujah, this time things did back down, in spite of the 5pm G25 reading at KHGR.
Five of us dove of : Rich B, Jon B, me, Walt, and Charlie. Major thanks to Bacil, who was just up to help, and to Nick, who's planning on lessons. Nick helped wirecrew several launches from the north ramp.
All of us got roughly an hour of airtime, as the sun was setting. More details later.... But it was a much needed flight for many of us!
Awesome clear skies, amazing slice of a crescent moon, incredible stars, and Petty's Learning to Fly on the radio as I pulled out. Perfect finish!
