ETA->10. Predicted low 30s to high 20s temp at launch but the wind direction and speed are worth the discomfort.

6000ft winds are forecast at 40k. So don't get too high or you are over the back. Wookstock maybe since forecast is a bit lighter. Have to decide in the next half hour if I will head out to Woodstock. total overcast here now.

Hey Joe,
If you went to WS, you made the right decision (hoping it was). RichB, Nick Brown (new to HG that came out to help) and I spent the day at the Pulpit waiting for the northerly cross in the valley and at launch (not part of any of the forecast models) to switch to a more NW flow and the wind speeds to drop from a mid to high-teen mph flow with gusts up to 25 to conditions that would allow safe launches with less than an ideal launch crew. Didn’t happen in time. Conditions became flyable about 30 min. before sunset.
