Taylors Mon, 9/4
I'm nursing a torn calf muscle, but I'm keeping my eye on Taylors for Mon; although, Labor Day traffic may be less than enjoyable. Anyway, I need to get in a few/severalhill flights since it's been 3 months since I flew the mountains...

If the forecast holds, I hope to teach there that day. First time in 10 weeks!

Pulpit seemed too strong and WS seemed too cross for a Falcon on Sunday.... So considering a few flights at Taylor tomorrow, given how long it's been for a mtn day for me. Probably on the early side, hoping to be on the road back home by 2pm.

Thermally, gusty, switchy and hot? Gotta be a Taylor day!
LOTS of pilots. 5-6 PG students of George and Peter. John M had at least 4 first timers and 2 more experienced students. Myself and Anthony on the hilltop. Been a long time since I've seen it that busy, but everyone seemed to sync/flow well, and get the flights they wanted.
I did four, stopping when the winds picked up and thermals were starting to get a bit mean in the LZ. Packed up and on the road by 3:20. Took Rt 301, very glad I did because 95 was apparently a slog.
Good day, and a bit challenging, worth the trip!
