I'm off. I'd be interested if the weather is flyable

Re: Possible cure for the doldrums
I've missed out on a couple of weekends due to other plans, and not really sure I can get away mid-week... But the forecast I just saw implied that there could be some good conditions ahead for a week or more, temps in the 70s in the DC area. So.... Probably a good time to plan ahead a bit, maybe we'll see some great flying days!

Possibly going, arriving early afternoon with hopes of PG even though HG would be fine.

Huge dome of Canadian high pressure will produce light NW, N, NNE, ENE, E, ESE winds in the next 4-6 days. Wrong side of the unit circle
. Labor day weekend is looking like it's on the right side of the unit circle

Re: Possible cure for the doldrums
Blaine and I have decided to wait for another day. Given the current forecasts, HG soarable conditions are most likely not going to happen until the late afternoon/evening and even then the predictions suggest marginal HG ridge lift.

Re: Possible cure for the doldrums
PG's believe it is going to be too windy, so I am not going either.
