Pulpit parking and setup area

Post by silverwings »

On Saturday after flying, I was using my sickle to clear some weeds, brush near where we park and the owner of the little house/shed across the road came up and talked to me. He asked if I was the owner and I told him that I was a member of the club that owned it. He said he has a bunch of equipment and would clear back some of the brush/small trees giving us more parking area if we wanted. I said that if wanted to expand it another 10 feet that would be fine. He also indicated he was the one who had mowed the setup area which I said we were very grateful. He says he enjoys going up to the ridge. Seems very nice that he is helping maintain the area.

I have his business card. I believe he once offered the use of his porta-pottie for the cost of a cleaning.
