I am considering the Pulpit tomorrow as well. I will be keeping an eye on the weather reports and will confirm in the morning.

The weather is not going to change drastically. It is mid August. The doldrums are here. Bacil

Wasn't as good as we had hoped. 4 pilots (Greg, Knut, Walt, me) flew hg sleds and 3 chose not to fly. Was probably better if we had launched before 1 pm. Winds varied a lot in speed and became more SW later in the day. But is was so much cooler with lower humidity at launch. I think timing was a key for flying there today and unfortunately we were all lacking in timing it correctly.

I agree with John M, we should have taken off earlier.
Anyway, finally I tested drive a U2-147 & I liked it!
I was concerned that I would have issues reaching the main LZ due to the lack of ridge lift. The U2 gliding gave me the confidence I needed: reach the main LZ without issues even the wind was south west. Although I didn't flair hard enough, landed without issues after running a little bit.

Special thanks to Bacil who show up to help us all & John M for helping me break down the glider, Charles for helping changing the hang loop, Sessa for his hints & help in the take off, Antonio for kindly planting his colored wind sockets in the field, Blaine for helping care the glider, Knut for the body ride to the top of the montain. Sorry if I forgot anyone
