Bailing out on Woodstock today. Forecast did not hold up. Too light and north for me.

This afternoon/evening Woodstock was gorgeous as only Woodstock can be. George, Eric, Felix and Krista ( good to see Krista as she observed and gave aid where needed) came out to enjoy the evening. Felix had an excellently executed first mountain flight, George flew tandem and Eric went north, ridge running. I do not know what happened to him. I launched my pg at 5:31, into light conditions but with nice cycles. The ridge was soarable, but barely. However, the clouds were still working! Max MSL Alt: 5253, duration 1:23, landed voluntarily. After approx an hour in the air the clouds dried up and the wind turned north. The rest of the flight was spent on the ridge in mildly bumpy air from the cross. A great way to spend an evening.

Thats my story and I am sticking to it,
Randy
