Route 30 Construction

Post by Matthew »

Just talked to Mark Cavanuagh. There is currently road construction on Route 30 going up to the Pulpit from Route 75 and they are single laning traffic. Don't know if there will also be construction work tomorrow.

Yeah---that's been going on all week. I think they're rebuilding drainage culverts along the sides of the road. Kinda sucks---they have one of those "Follow Me" trucks that "escorts" the traffic both ways. I sat there once for a good 10-15 minutes waiting for the escort vehicle to show up so we could go. Grrr...

You might consider taking 16 over from McConnellsburg and then driving up
from the other side. It's only a few minutes further. Also the HAMS might
monitor 146.47 and give each other a heads up as they are driving through.
