Who lives here?

Post by Scott »

Saw this sign by someone's driveway along PA Rt.418 (between Hagerstown and Mercersburg). Unless I'm failing the Rorschach test, it looks like a teddy bear in a hang glider! Anyone know who lives here? (Can't quite make out the lettering...)

Keith Ford

I'm guessing Keith Ford. Looks like the word FORDS on bottom of sign. Keith is a great pilot who lives near the Pulpit and doesn't fly that often anymore.

Mystery solved! Thanks. (I did a double-take when I saw that sign.)

BTW, having driven both ways several times this week, I've discovered taking the Rt.58 exit off I-81 (towards Cearfoss) and following that all the way through Mercersburg (and picking up Rt.75 to Rt.30) is just as fast as the 81/Rt.16/Greencastle/Lemar Rd. route. It's more scenic and has less traffic too.

(In the "for what it's worth" category.)

scott, i believe keith works an 'early day'. he could give you even
more of the local shortcuts, is easy-going, is not averse to
conversation, knows a lot about flying the pulpit...if you are
spending time doing site maintenance...he used to do a lot at the
pulpit himself, is hospitable, and his wife tammy is a good
cook......."fwiw", gary

Scott,
Thats the route I always take and have been for years going to the Pulpit or Kirshners. I think it is a little faster. Also, the sign is Keith Fords and they live about 100 yds up the entrance.
