Hi Ya All
Yes, what a great day for winter flying at the Pulpit. I also agree with the above posts. I launched 1320 after Knut with the help of Charlie, Dave and Anthony. It was my first high wind launch. Thank you guys. I too had a great flight topping out at 3,741 MSL and with 49:38 minutes air time. Thank you Anthony and Bacil for taking my truck to the main LZ. Thanks Knut for capturing some endearing moments digitally. It was a great time had by all.

Charley,
Great video from Saturday and thanks for posting it.
Yes, the Main LZ at Pulpit on Saturday was somewhat turbulent, but expected. Launching into a strong cycle or landing in such conditions, then excessive airspeed is one very important safety factor.
That said, glad I could make it to Pulpit yesterday; but, often kids activities, family commitments and work, keeps me from flying. So, if I am not there, don't assume I am too lazy to go out on a beautiful day.
