New CHGPA Google Email Group!

Post by mingram »

Hello Pilots! In addition to this public web forum, we now have a members-only Google email group. This will replace the PG Yahoo group and make it faster/easier to communicate directly to membership via email.

This Public web forum will remain active and will be featured on the homepage of the new website as a way for non-members to see where we're flying make it easier for them to connect with us.

If you haven't received the link to the new Google email group, then we don't have you on our roster as a current dues paying member. We're currently working on the new website which will synchronize our roster with access to the Google email group and send automated renewal emails before your membership expires. If you paid your dues and still haven't received the Google link please let me know.

It may be a little confusing at first to figure out which forum to use: the Google email group or the public web forum. I suggest starting a flying thread on the Google group for discussions regarding where to fly and when and then posting your intentions on a public forum to help new members and visiting pilots connect with us and see that we are an active group.

Please let me know if you have any questions or ideas regarding usage of our forums or the new website.

The invitation got unread lost in my old mail (ROUNTUIT status). On 1/7 I tried to use the invitation, and the result was the following:
Groups
Unfortunately, you were unable to join the group.
The following error occurred:
Invitation has expired
Make sure you are attempting to join the group with the same account that received the group invitation.
If you continue to have problems, please contact the group owner.

Not all dues paying members have received the link so please resend.

Thanks in advance.

I thought I was a dues paying member but must not be as I don''t recall getting a link to the Google email group. I did mail my 2017 dues yesterday.

Karl will add you if you submitted your information via the Google form. We didn't have your info as of last summer. Or you can PM me your email address and I will add you.

I'm compiling the information for matt in batches, but it appears I need to think of a quicker turn around way to provide access to the Google Email Group. If you only paid $50 instead of the $60 I'm holding off access to the Google group as well :)
