Anthony and I went back and forth re the Smithsburg forecast today, but after getting depressed over resulting to a potential bicycle ride (How boring!), we've decided to go and see. We plan to be there at 1 pm.

We had a good day at Smithsburg. Smithsburg is such an amazing and beautiful hill! And the entire place was perfectly manicured to pretty much golf course level quality. Danny, Anthony, Igor, and I all had good flights. Conditions were 10-15 mph and mostly W with occassional 17-20 mph blowing through. I did a couple straight flights working my way up the hill then one nice one from the top. Danny, Anthony, and Igor all got in a few good flights from the top. Danny had one flight where he soared the hill for three or four turns. It was totally worth suffering through chilly fingers syndrome.
