Woodstock Injury Mishap
We had a P2 make a hard landing yesterday after flying Woodstock. He's currently at George Washington University hospital with fractures to both legs. He had his first surgery today to stabilize the more severe leg and will require more surgery ahead. Fortunately, he appears to have no other injuries. He's expected to be in the hospital for several more days. We'll post an incident summary once we have a better sense of what happened.

Re: Woodstock PG Crash
Jeff thanks for posting the sad news of the crash. All of us are hoping for better news about the pilot’s recovery and I (all of us) understand that your post was not an easy one.
Weather predictions suggest that this weekend and/or most likely on Monday, will bring decent HG flying conditions at WS. If questions are raised about the accident by those that live near the crash site, knowledge of what happened will help those that fly. Just the basics - an update of the pilot’s condition and where it happened.
Thanks,
Ward

Re: Woodstock Injury Mishap
Also, esp. if the pilot is still in the hospital, maybe some contact info for get-well cards and the like....
Re: Woodstock Injury Mishap
Mark-
He is still in the hospital (GWU), was scheduled for another surgery today (third). Thanks for the thought -- if you'd like, I can provide the contact info directly.
Thanks,
Jeff
BTW -- we'll get the incident write-up posted shortly.
